Privacy notice – Micor portal

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (department) collects your personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)) in relation to the Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor) portal for the purposes of assessing your application for access, creating and administering your account, and related purposes. If you fail to provide some or all of the information requested in the application form for the Micor portal, the department may not be able to create your account.

For the administering of your account, the department may use your personal information to provide you with updates and information about the Micor portal and to provide technical support with your account as required.

The department may disclose your personal information to other Australian government agencies, persons or organisations where necessary for the above purposes, provided the disclosure is consistent with relevant laws, in particular the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Your personal information will not be disclosed overseas.
