Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are not to be derived from genetically modified organisms.
Consignment to be fumigated with Phosphine at 2grm/m3 for 5 days minimum.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free from Angoumois grain moth (Sitotroga cerealella), Lesser grain borer (Rhysopertha dominica), Grain weevils (Sitophilus spp), Red flour beetle (Tribolium castaneua) and Saw-toothed grain beetle (Oryaephilus surinamonsis).
