Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 4653)
1) Southern bean mosaic virus is known not to occur in Australia,
2) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Anthracnose (Colletotricum spp), Cowpea bacterial blight pustule (Xanthomonas campestris pv vignicola), Bean yellow mosaic virus, Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus and Cowpea ringspot virus.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 4662)
1) Southern bean mosaic virus is known not to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Anthracnose (Colletotricum spp), Cowpea bacterial blight pustule (Xanthomonas campestris pv vignicola), Bean yellow mosaic virus, Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus and Cowpea ringspot virus.
