If the exporter requests to have the import permit number printed on the phytosanitary certificate, an import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection. Otherwise, no import permit is required for inspection and no import permit number will be printed on the phytosanitary certificate.
Explanation of the endorsements:
Endorsement 6732
- Visual inspection of a representative sample is required confirming freedom from Common ragweed (ambrosia artemisiifolia), Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum).
- A laboratory analysis certificate is required confirming freedom from Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris), Bacterial leaf streak of wheat (Xanthomonas translucens pv. undulosa).
- Visual inspection of a representative sample is required confirming freedom from Common ragweed (ambrosia artemisiifolia), Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum).
- A laboratory analysis certificate is required confirming freedom from Black rot (Xanthomonas campestris), Bacterial leaf streak of wheat (Xanthomonas translucens pv. undulosa).
- Area of production freedom based on state freedom of Bacterial leaf streak of wheat (Xanthomonas translucens pv. undulosa).
Note:
- Endorsement 6732 is applicable for wheat sourced from NSW or other states unable to provide a state freedom certificate.
- Endorsement 6733 is applicable to all the Australian states (excluding NSW) on the production of a state freedom certificate.
If required by an import permit, the consignment is to undergo appropriate treatment at manufacturers' recommended rates (label requirements).
