Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


If required, consignments are to be accompanied by an International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) Certificate.

1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Annual ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), Blue pimpernel (Anagaliis arvensis), California thistle (Cirsium arvense), Heart-podded hoary cress (Cardaria drada), Common fumitory (Fumaria officinalis), Darnel (Lolium temulentum), Common poppy (Papaver rhoeas), Canary grass (Phalaris minor), Annual yellow sweetclover (Melilotus indica) and Bastardcress (Thlaspi arvense).

Import permit dated 23 October 2012 and Zambian NPPO letter in relation to an import permit dated 18 August 2025.
