Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 5055:
Exporters who elect to apply this endorsement must provide a laboratory analysis certificate (using ISTA guidelines) certifying that the consignment is free of Broomrape (Orobanche spp).
Consignments are to be treated with an approved wide spectrum pesticide at recommended manufacturers requirements
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 4987)
1) Black root rot (Chalara elegans), Tomato spotted wilt virus, Tobacco streak virus, Cucumber mosaic virus, Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum) and Broomrape (Orobanche spp) are known not to occur in the area of production.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 4988)
1) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Black root rot (Chalara elegans), Tomato spotted wilt virus, Tobacco streak virus and Cucumber mosaic virus,
2) Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum) and Broomrape (Orobanche spp) are known not to occur in the area of production.
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 5047)
1) Black root rot (Chalara elegans), Tomato spotted wilt virus, Tobacco streak virus, Cucumber mosaic virus and Broomrape (Orobanche spp) are known not to occur in the area of production,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum).
Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 5048)
1) The parent plants were inspected during the growing season and found free from Black root rot (Chalara elegans), Tomato spotted wilt virus, Tobacco streak virus and Cucumber mosaic virus,
2) Broomrape (Orobanche spp) are known not to occur in the area of production,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Darnel ryegrass (Lolium temulentum).
