Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Bacterial blight of pea (Pseudomonas syringae pv. pisi) and Pea seedborne mosaic virus are not on seed export pathway for Clitoria ternatea. Powdery mildew (Erysiphe polygoni) is associated with living leaves and is not on seed export pathway for Clitoria ternatea seed. Freedom from these pests may be endorsed without citing evidence.

The phytosanitary certificate must be accompanied with a Certificate of Origin.

The seed must be raised by mass production of true to type.

Consignments are to be treated with appropriate fungicide at approved label rates.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
