Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Seed potatoes must be sourced from a nationally recognised seed potato certification scheme. Exporter to provide evidence of certification and present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1897)
1) Golden cyst nematode (Globodera pallida) is known not to occur in Australia,
2) Potato cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis) is known not to occur in the area of production as verified by an official survey or sampling.
