A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 553)
1) Sorghum downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sorghi), Maize downy mildew (Peronosclerospora maydis), Stewart's disease (Erwinia stewartii), Maize chlorotic mottle machlomovirus and Maize dwarf mosaic virus are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Bacterial canker of tomato (Clavibacter michiganensis) and Corn smut (Ustilago maydis) are known not to occur in the state of production,
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of scheduled weed seeds.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 554)
1) Sorghum downy mildew (Peronosclerospora sorghi), Maize downy mildew (Peronosclerospora maydis), Stewart's disease (Erwinia stewartii), Maize chlorotic mottle machlomovirus and Maize dwarf mosaic virus are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The crop was inspected during the growing season according to appropriate procedures and found free from Bacterial canker of tomato (Clavibacter michiganensis) and Corn smut (Ustilago maydis),
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of scheduled weed seeds.
