Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


The ICRs are applicable to:
  • Brachiaria spp
  • Panicum spp
  • Paspalum atratum
  • Uroshhloa mosambicensis
  • Centrosema spp
  • Ciltoria ternatea
  • Macroptilium atropurpureum
  • Macroptilium bracteatum
  • Desmodium intortum
  • Lablab spp
  • Leucaena spp
  • Neonotonia wightii
  • Stylosanthes guianensis.
If required by the import permit consignments are to be treated with one of the following fungicide combinations, either:

  • thiram at 10grm a.i. per 10kgm seed;

OR

  • Carboxin at 8grm a.i. per 10kgm seed and captan at 7grm a.i. per 10kgm seed;

OR

  • Imazalil at 0.8grm a.i. per 10kgm seed and triadimenol at 2.2grm a.i. per 10kgm seed;

OR

  • Imazalil at 0.8 grm a.i. per 10kgm seed and flutriafol at 10grm a.i. per 10kgm seed.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Details of treatment are NOT to be certified in the treatment section of the phytosanitary certificate. Treatment details are to be certified as an endorsement only.

Consignments do not require treatment nor endorsement if there is no reference to treatment on the Import Permit.

Note: The fungicide referred to on New Caledonia import permits as 'flitriafol' is known in Australia as flutriafol. 
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 2035)
1) The seed has been treated with thiram at 10grm a.i. per 10kgm seed.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 2036)
1) The seed has been treated with Carboxin at 8grm a.i. per 10kgm seed and captan at 7grm a.i. per 10kgm seed.

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 2037)
1) The seed has been treated with Imazalil at 0.8grm a.i. per 10kgm seed and triadimenol at 2.2grm a.i. per 10kgm seed.

Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 2038)
1) The seed has been treated with Imazalil at 0.8grm a.i. per 10kgm seed and fitriafol at
10grm a.i. per 10kgm seed.
