Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

 
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

 
Exporters are to ensure that each all seeds are identified with the scientific name on labels.
 
US may not allow entry of consignments wrapped, coated, dipped or sprayed or packaged in plastic or other impermeable material that prevent adequate inspection or treatment.
 
Endorsement No 2099 applies for seeds of Prunus species seed susceptible to plum pox disease (species other than Prunus avium, P. canescans, P. cerasus, P. ffusa, P. laurocerasus, P. mahaleb, P. padus, P. sargentii, P. serotina, P. serrula, P. serrulata, P. subhirtella, P. Irginia and P. yedoensis).
