Note:
- Barley (being whole grain of Hordeum vulgare (whether 2‑row or 6‑row), but not including hulled, milled or malted grain of that kind) is listed as a prescribed grain under the ExportControl (Plants and Plant Products) Rules 2021. As such, for any consignment containing more than 10kg of barley, a Request For Permit (RFP) must be raised, the product inspected by an Authorised Officer and an export permit issued, prior to export. Consignments containing less than 10kg of prescribed grain are exempt from this requirement.
- Exporters are to ensure that the consignments are substantially free of USA's Noxious Weed Seeds.
