Each lot should clearly display kind, variety, origin, lot designation and treatment if any.

Consignment will be inspected on arrival for noxious weed seeds and pests.

Genetically engineered plant materials may require a valid permit or notification. The exporter should confirm with APHIS prior to export if applicable. Email biotechquery@aphis.usda.gov for more information.

APHIS may issue an import permit for Lolium spp seed for laboratory analysis which does not require a phytosanitary certificate to accompany the consignment. If no phytosanitary certificate is required, Lolium spp is not prescribed and so does not require inspection by an Authorised Officer and issuance of an export permit.

If an import permit is not issued, then a phytosanitary certificate is required to accompany the consignment as per APHIS requirements for propagative material.
Import permit dated 24 January 2019 and NPPO regulations.
