Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Each lot should clearly display kind, variety, origin, lot designation and treatment if any.

Genetically engineered plant materials may require a valid permit or notification. The exporter should confirm with APHIS prior to export if applicable. Email BRSCompliance@aphis.usda.gov for more information.

If an import permit is issued, then a copy of the import permit must be presented at the time of making an appointment for an inspection with an Authorised Officer.
