This Micor case only applies to plants or plant products exported to Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). Northern Ireland is within the European Union's Sanitary and Phytosanitary area, so EU import requirements apply for exports to Northern Ireland. Please contact the Horticulture Exports Program - horticultureexports@aff.gov.au if you wish to export to Northern Ireland and require assistance.
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.
Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7646)
1) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 102 (a) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in Australia which, in accordance with the measures specified in ISPM4, is known to be free from Tomato pinworm (Keiferia lycopersicella),
2) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 101 (a) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in Australia which, in accordance with the measures specified in ISPM4, is known to be free from Tomato fruit borer (Neoleucinodes elegantalis),
3) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 100 (b) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in an area established by the Australian Government in accordance with ISPM4 as being free from Tomato Potato Psyllid (Bactericera cockerelli (Šulc.)). Areas recognised by the UK are all states and territories, except Victoria, Western Australia and Norfolk Island.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 7647)
1) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 102 (a) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in Australia which, in accordance with the measures specified in ISPM4, is known to be free from Tomato pinworm (Keiferia lycopersicella),
2) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 101 (a) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in Australia which, in accordance with the measures specified in ISPM4, is known to be free from Tomato fruit borer (Neoleucinodes elegantalis),
3) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 100 (c) (i) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - an official statement, which includes information on traceability, that the fruits originate in a place of production where official inspections and surveys for the presence of Tomato potato psyllid (Bactericera cockerelli (Šulc.)) have been carried out during the last three months prior to export at the place of production and its immediate vicinity, and the fruits have been subjected to effective treatments to ensure freedom from the pest and an inspection of a representative sample of fruits prior to export which has shown the fruits to be free of that pest,
4) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 100 (c) (ii) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits have all green parts removed.
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 7648)
1) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 102 (a) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in Australia which, in accordance with the measures specified in ISPM4, is known to be free from Tomato pinworm (Keiferia lycopersicella),
2) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 101 (a) of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 - the fruits originate in Australia which, in accordance with the measures specified in ISPM4, is known to be free from Tomato fruit borer (Neoleucinodes elegantalis),
3) Consignment complies with Schedule 7, Annex 7, Part A, point 100 (d) of Plant of Plant Health (Plant Phytosanitary Conditions) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 an official statement that the fruits originate in an insect proof site of production, established by the national plant protection organisation in the country of origin, as being free from Tomato potato psyllid (Bactericera cockerelli (Šulc.)), on the basis of official inspections and surveys carried out during the three months prior to export, and which includes information on traceability.
