Note:
- Bacterial leaf blight of rice (Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae) and Bacterial leaf streak of rice (Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzicola) have limited distribution in the Northern Territory and Queensland, and these pests are not known to occur in other states. Freedom from these pests for seed sourced from other Australian states may be endorsed without citing any evidence.
Hot water treatment (50 degree Celsius for 48 hours) is mandatory when using EXDOC Endorsement 2055.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 2053)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi) (Annex II, Part A, Section I (a)6),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Argentine stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis) (Annex II, Part A, Section I (a)18),
3) Bacterial leaf blight of rice (Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae) and Bacterial leaf streak of rice (Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzicola) are known not to occur in the area of production (Annex II, Part A, Section I (b)5).
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 2055)
1) Seed in this consignment was subjected to hot water treatment (50 degree Celsius for 48 hours) for White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi) (Annex II, Part A, Section I (a)6).
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Argentine stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis) (Annex II, Part A, Section I (a)18),
3) Bacterial leaf blight of rice (Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae) and Bacterial leaf streak of rice (Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzicola) are known not to occur in the area of production (Annex II, Part A, Section I (b)5).
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 938)
1) The seed was sourced from pest free area of White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi) (Annex II, Part A, Section I (a)6),
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Argentine stem weevil (Listronotus bonariensis) (Annex II, Part A, Section I (a)18),
