It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.

1. Leafy vegetables (basil) originate in a country free from  Vegetable leaf miner fly (Liriomyza sativae) and Blotch leaf miner (Amauromyza maculosa),
2. Leafy vegetable (basil) originate in an area free from Tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement No 5978)
1. Leafy vegetables (basil) originate in a country free from  Vegetable leaf miner fly (Liriomyza sativae) and Blotch leaf miner (Amauromyza maculosa), 
2. Leafy vegetable (basil) immediately prior to their export, have been officially inspected and found free from Tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci).
