Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Consignments are to be packed and labelled with scientific name of seed.

For re-export certification only - i.e.: Australian seed being exported that will be re-exported from the United Arab Emirates. Seeds being sent to the United Arab Emirates that have no third market endorsement requirements should use the all seeds for sowing Micor case.

Requests by exporters for additional endorsements of seed for sowing being exported to the United Arab Emirates maybe complied with where it is known that the seed shall be re-exported to another destination through a re-export phytosanitary certificate.
 
Exporters who require endorsements for re-export purposes are to provide written evidence of the additional endorsements and which attests to the endorsement which the department needs to certify to on the phytosanitary certificate.
 
Requests are to be emailed to MicorPlants@agriculture.gov.au for action.
 
Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 6734:
  • A laboratory testing certificate is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).
Endorsement 6735:
  • A crop inspection certificate is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
All consignments are to be treated with an approved fungicide at recommended manufacturers requirements.

Option 1(EXDOC Endorsement 6734)
1) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 6735)
1) Crop was inspected during active growth and found to be free from Bacterial wilt of alfalfa (Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. insidiosus).
