Export Criteria/General requirements:

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Micor case is applicable for the following fruit:

  • Capsicum (Capsicum annuum)
  • Chilli (Capsicum frutescens)
  • Cucumber (Cucumis sativus)
  • Eggplant (Solanum melongena)
  • Giant pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima)
  • Grapes (Vitis vinifera)
  • Melon (Cucumis melo)
  • Silver- seed gourd (Cucurbita argyrosperma)
  • Strawberry (Fragaria ananassa)
  • Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)
  • Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus)
If the consignment is not of the above commodities, please use the Micor case, Fruit – Other.

The Ministry of Environment & Water, United Arab Emirates (UAE) has advised the following:

  1. All shipments must be free from Red-back spiders (Lactrodectus hasselti) at the time of export
  2. The consignments shall be free from the fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) pest based on a visual examination, and an additional declaration proving that the consignment is free from the pest is required on the phytosanitary certificate. 
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7354)
1) The consignment is free from spodoptera frugiperda.
