A Certificate as to Condition (GX46) is required with the following statement based on Exporters Declarations:
 
  • Blanched almonds are safe and fit for human consumption; andBlanched almonds were handled at an establishment that has been subject to inspections by the competent authority and/or officially recognised body and implements a food safety management system based on HACCP principles or an equivalent system and they are certified by nationally accredited certification bodies.
 
The exporter must provide a Declaration certifying to the above requirements when requesting a "Certificate as to Condition".

The exporter may contact Non-Prescribed Goods Branch (NPGExports@agriuclture.gov.au) to obtain a "Certificate as to Condition".
