The import conditions are applicable to the following Rassica spp:
  • Brassica rapa
  • Brassica napus
Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 6700:
  • Freedom may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate without evidence for Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium), Cucurbit beetle (Diabrotica speciosa), Spotted cucumber beetle (Diabrotica undecimpunctata), Giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida), Texas bluegrass (Helianthus ciliaris), Pennsylvania smartweed (Polygonum pensyvanicum), Horsenettle (Solanum carolinese), Cutleaf nightshade (Solanum triflorum) and Pitted morning (Ipomoea lacunosa) as these pests are not known to occur in Australia.
  • Freedom from Perennial ragweed (Ambrosia psilostachya), Garden cosmos (Bidens bipinnata), Blackjack (Bidens pilosa), Poverty weed (Iva axillaris), Silverleaf nightshade (Solanum elaeagnifolium) Japanese morning glory (Ipomoea hederacea), Russian knapweed (Acroptilon repens), Common ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), Prickly nightshade (Solanum rostratum), Cutleaf evening primerose (Raimania laciniata), Johnson grass (Sorghum halepense), Oriental cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus chinensis), Cowpea weevil (Callosobruchus maculatus) and Oriental leaf moth (Spodoptera litura) may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate based on visual inspection by an Authorised Officer.
  • Freedom from Dodder (Cuscuta spp), Witchweed (Striga spp) and Stem and bulb nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate based on the results of laboratory test analysis report.

 

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
