1) Choanephora fruit rot (Choanephora cucurbitarum ) and Bacterial stalk rot of maize (Erwinia chrysanthemi pv. zeae) are known not to occur in Australia,
2) The mother plants were inspected during the active growth and found free from Tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci).
