A laboratory analysis certificate for Barley Stripe Mosaic Virus and Black chaff (Xanthomonas translucens pv translucens) is to be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments exported to the Seed Gene Bank of Turkey do not require certification attesting to the diseases of concern.
ie: Phytosanitary certificate is issued with No Additional Declaration and the consignee must be stated as Seed Gene Bank of Turkey.
(1) Karnal Bunt (Tillatia indica) is not known to occur in Australia,
(2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Barley Stripe Mosaic virus and Black chaff (Xanthomonas translucens pv translucens).
