Alternatively, the consignment maybe treated against White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi).
If the exporter elects to treat the consignment, the phytosanitary certificate is issued with No Additional Declaration.
Note: These ICRs do not apply to polished/milled rice. Polished/milled rice may be exported without an accompanying phytosanitary certificate. Rice is not a prescribed good for the purposes of the Export Control Act 2020, therefore consignments of polished/milled rice do not require Authorised Officer inspection and issuance of an export permit.
Consignments which are to be treated against White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi) are subject to hot water treatment or any other appropriate treatment effective against White tip nematode (Aphelenchoides besseyi).
