Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 4590:
Consignments are to be free from plant debris of all kind, based on a representative sample being inspected. No treatment required.
Endorsement 804:
- When consignments are fumigated with appropriate fumigant under vacuum according to the label rates. The details of the treatments are to be endorsed on phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.
- The exporter is responsible for presenting product that meets the NPPO import requirements.
- Consignments found not to meet these requirements will not be eligible for export / certification to Turkey.
Note: For phytosanitary certificates issued on or after 4 August 2026, endorsement 8460 is mandatory (endorsement 4590 and 804 must not be used).
Endorsement 8460:
- Consignments are to be free from plant debris of all kind, based on a representative sample being inspected. No treatment required.
- If endorsement xxxx will not be used, the consignment must be treated. Refer to the below treatment section.
If endorsement 4590 is used, no treatment is required.
For phytosanitay certificate issued on or after 4 August 2026 consignment must be treated with:
- Methyl bromide at 80 grm/m3 at 20 degrees Celsius for 48 hours.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
