It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure the consignment is exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.

Explanation of endorsement 6777:
  • Communiqué No: 2014/59 provides provisions for import of species covered by the Annexes of Turkey's Plant Quarantine Regulation for research purposes.
  • Avena seeds only require additional measures if they originate from a country where Xylella (Xylella fastidiosa) is known to occur. Xylella (Xylella fastidiosa) is not present in Australia. Therefore, no evidence is required for this endorsement.
