This Micor case applies to the following:
- Brazil nuts in shell (no phytosanitary certificate to be issued for shelled Brazil nuts)
- Cashew nuts in shell (no phytosanitary certificate to be issued for shelled cashew nuts)
- Almond nuts in shell (no phytosanitary certificate to be issued for shelled almond nuts)
- Hazelnuts - whether in-shell or shelled
- Walnuts in shell (no phytosanitary certificate to be issued for shelled walnuts)
- Chestnuts in shell (no phytosanitary certificate to be issued for shelled chestnuts)
- Pistachios in shell (no phytosanitary certificate to be issued for shelled pistachio nuts)
- Macadamia nuts - whether in-shell or shelled
- Cola nuts - whether in-shell or shelled
- Areca nuts - whether in-shell or shelled
- All other nuts not mentioned in the above list - whether in-shell or shelled
Note: Nuts are not prescribed goods under the Export Control (Plants and Plant Products) Rules. If the importing country does not require a phytosanitary certificate, there is no requirement to raise a Request for Permit (RFP), undergo inspection by an Authorised Officer, or obtain an export permit.
