Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packaging not previously used for any purpose and must not be packed in hay, straw, chaff, soil, forest litter or any decomposing material.

Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 5781:

Applies for seed not grown in Australia. It must be endorsed if stated by permit.
If consignment is treated, details of treatment need to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.
 
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
