Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.
Exporter is to ensure any packing used is not hay, straw, chaff, forest litter, or any decomposing material.
Cold disinfestation treatment prior to export is required for consignments that cannot be certified under endorsement 3160.
Core temperature is to be held continuously at:
- 1 degree Celsius (plus / minus 0.5 degrees Celsius) for not less than 16 days.

1) Carrot rust fly (Psila rosae) and Papaya fruit fly (Bactrocera papayae) are known not to occur in Australia,
2) No fruit fly that attacks the particular fruit has been trapped within 80 kms of the growing area within the previous 12 months.
