Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Exporter is to ensure any packing used is not hay, straw, chaff, forest litter, or any decomposing material. 

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

 
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments unable to be certified under endorsement 7656 are to be treated by cold disinfestation prior to export.

Core temperature of the fruit to be continuously held at:
  • 0 degrees Celsius (plus / minus 0.5 degrees Celsius) for not less than 13 days,

OR

  • 1 degrees Celsius (plus / minus 0.5 degrees Celsius) for not less than 16 days.
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 7656)
1) No fruit fly that attacks the particular fruit has been trapped within 80 kms of the growing area within the previous 12 months,
2) This produce has been grown in an area where no Papaya fruitfly (Bactrocera papayae) has been trapped.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 8411)
1) The core temperature of the fruit in this consignment was continuously held at 1 degrees Celsius, plus or minus 0.5 degrees Celsius for 16 days prior to export.

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 7657)
1) The core temperature of the fruit in this consignment was continuously held at 0 degrees Celsius, plus or minus 0.5 degrees Celsius for 13 days prior to export.
