Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages not previously used for any purpose and must not be packed in hay, straw, straw, chaff, soil, forest litter, or any decomposing material.

Or plants must be treated with a 30 second dip in a solution consisting of:
- Carbaryl 0.1% active ingredient
- Maldision 0.1% active ingredient
- White oil 1% active ingredient
1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of dry rot of potato (Haematonectria haematococca), Fusarium solani, Phytophthora root rot (Phytophthora cinnamomi), Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Cladosporium oxysporum, Septoria passifloricola, Passion fruit woodiness virus (PWV), Pseudomonas syringae pv. passiflorae, Fusarium wilt of tomato (Fusarium Oxysporum f.sp.passiflorae) and Cucumber mosaic virus.
