Core temperature of the fruit to be continuously held at:
- 1 degrees Celsius (plus / minus 0.5 degrees Celsius) for not less than 16 days.
- 0 degrees Celsius (plus / minus 0.5 degrees Celsius) for not less than 13 days.
1) No fruit fly that attacks the particular fruit has been trapped within 80 kms of the growing area within the previous 12 months,
2) Papaya fruit fly (Bactrocera papayae) is known not to occur in Australia.
