Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


This ICR only applies to the following commodities:
  • Leek - Allium ampeloprasum
  • Onion - Allium cepa
  • Shallot - Allium cepa var aggregatum
  • Spring onion - Allium fistulosum
Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Exporter is to ensure any packing used is not hay, straw, chaff, forest litter, or any decomposing material. 

A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

 
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

1) Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae) is not known to occur in the state of production.
2) A representativesample was inspected and found free of White rot (Sclerotium cepivorum) and Neck rot (Botrytis spp).
3) A representative sample was inspected and foundfree of Light brown apple moth and Codling moth.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 5906)
1) Onion smut (Urocystis cepulae) is not known to occur in the area of production,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of White rot (Sclerotium cepivorum) and Neck rot (Botrytis spp).
3) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Light brown apple moth and Codling moth.
