Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages not previously used for any purpose and must not be packed in hay, straw, straw, chaff, soil, forest litter, or any decomposing material.
Plants are to be treated prior to export with Methyl Bromide fumigation for 2 hours at the following concentrations:

- 56grm/m3 at 5 to 10 degrees Celsius;
OR
- 48grm/m3 at 11 to 15 degrees Celsius;
OR
- 40 grm/m3 at 16 to 20 degrees Celsius;
OR
- 32 grm/m3 at 21 to 25 degrees Celsius;
OR
- 24 grm/m3 at 26 to 30 degrees Celsius;
OR
- 16 grm/m3 at 31 degrees Celsius and above.
Or plants must be treated with a 30 second dip in a solution consisting of:
- Carbaryl 0.1% active ingredient
- Maldision 0.1% active ingredient
- White oil 1% active ingredient
