Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Plants are to be bare rooted.
Treatment options:

Option 1: Plants are to be treated prior to export with Methyl bromide fumigation for 2 hours at the following concentrations:
  • 56 grm/m3 at 5 to 10 degrees Celsius; OR
  • 48 grm/m3 at 11 to 15 degrees Celsius; OR
  • 40 grm/m3 at 16 to 20 degrees Celsius; OR
  • 32 grm/m3 at 21 to 25 degrees Celsius; OR
  • 24 grm/m3 at 26 to 30 degrees Celsius; OR
  • 16 grm/m3 at 31 degrees Celsius and above.
Option 2: Plants must be treated prior to export with a 30 second dip in a solution consisting of:
  • Carbaryl – 0.1% active ingredient or equivalent
  • Maldision – 0.1% active ingredient, and 
  • White oil – 1.0% active ingredient
The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 6787)
1) Consignment has been inspected and found to be free from insects pests and diseases.
2) Plants in this consignment has been fumigated prior to export
3) Plants in this consignment were grown in Australia.
 
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 6788)
1) Consignment has been inspected and found to be free from insects pests and diseases.
2) Plants in this consignment has undergone through a dipping treatment prior to export.
3) Plants in this consignment were grown in Australia.
