Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds, extraneous material and bark.
Inspections for insects under bark should be carried out during bark removal.
Logs must be allowed to stand for 24 hours prior to full inspection to allow any frass to develop, as it is disturbed during the discharge process.
Similarly, wet logs cannot be inspected thoroughly because frass is removed by rain and therefore must be allowed to stand for 24 hours prior to full inspection.
All consignments will be inspected at a Timor Leste approved premises upon arrival.

Methyl bromide fumigation:
For each 5 degrees Celsius the temperature is expected to fall below 21 degrees Celsius the fumigator must add 8 grm/m3 or subtract 8 grm/m3 for each 5 degree Celsius the temperature increases.
Copy of treatment certificate must accompany consignment.
Methyl bromide fumigation:
- 48 grm/m3 for 24 hours at 21 degrees Celsius (at Normal Atmospheric Pressure).
For each 5 degrees Celsius the temperature is expected to fall below 21 degrees Celsius the fumigator must add 8 grm/m3 or subtract 8 grm/m3 for each 5 degree Celsius the temperature increases.
Copy of treatment certificate must accompany consignment.
