Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

ICR applies to the following species/synonyms; Worsleya rayneri, Worsleya procera, and Hippeastrum procerum

All the plants must be bare-rooted (without soil) and without fruit.

Complete scientific names (name of genus + species), place of origin, and imported quantity, must be  specified on the phytosanitary certificate.

Where applicable, all treatment details must be included in the treatment fields of the phytosanitary certificate.

It is the exporter's responsibilities to contact the agriculture authority (Taiwan BAPHIQ) of the importing country to determine the import conditions before export inspection.

TAIWAN TRANSHIPPING REQUIREMENTS

Consignments which are being transhipped through countries or districts where designated insects, mites, fungi, bacteria, viruses or nematodes occur shall be properly packed and secured in Australia in such a way that they shall not be in contact with any other consignment.

Plants and plant products exported by sea transport shall be transported in containers which are sealed and arrive in Taiwan with seals intact.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

 1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) and Western flower thrip (Frankliniella occidentalis).
