Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Walnuts can only be exported from Australia if they are hulled/shelled and dried so they are not capable to germinate.

Walnuts that are not hulled/shelled and dried are still considered to be a prohibited import in Taiwan until the completion of the pest risk assessment.
