Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

The radish (Raphanus sativus) and daikon (Raphanus sativus var longipinnatus) must only be sourced from the states of Victoria or Taiwan, per the quarantine requirements for Burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis).

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

All plants and plant products transhipped through countries or districts where designated insects, mites, fungi, bacteria, viruses or nematodes occur shall be properly packed and secured in Australia in such a way that they shall not be in contact with any other consignment.

Plants and plant products exported by sea transport shall be transported in containers which are sealed and arrive in Taiwan with seals intact. 

It is the exporters' responsibility for ensuring the seal is applied to containers.

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement No 1786)

1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Light brown apple moth (Epiphyas postvittana), Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), and White fringed beetle (Naupactus leucoloma), Western flower thrip (Frankliniella occidentalis).

2) The product has been sourced from the state of Victoria.


Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement No 8376)

1) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Light brown apple moth (Epiphyas postvittana), Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci), White fringed beetle (Naupactus leucoloma), and Western flower thrip (Frankliniella occidentalis).

2) The product has been sourced from the state of Tasmania.
