Endorsements 1022, 1098 and 1099:

  • Stem canker of sunflower (Diaporthe helianthi), Downy mildew of sunflower (Plasmopara halstedii), Wisconsin tobacco disease (Pseudomonas syringae pv. mellea), Sunflower chlorotic mottle virus (SuCMoV) and Sunflower mosaic virus are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.

EXDOC Endorsement 1022:

  • A crop inspection report is required to endorse freedom from Bacterial wilt of potato (Ralstonia solanacearum), bacterial: Tagetes spp. leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. tagetis), Leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. helianthi), Leaf spot: sugarbeet (Pseudomonas syringae pv. aptata), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial blight of endive (Pseudomonas cichorii), Bacterial soft rot (Pectobacterium carotovorum), Potato blackleg disease (Pectobacterium atrosepticum), Puccinia xanthii, charcoal rot of bean/tobacco (Rhizoctonia bataticola), Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia libertiana Fuckel), Sclerotium rot (Athelia rolfsii/sclerotium rolfsii), Blight (Leptosphaeria lindquistii), and Alternaria leaf spot of sunflowers (Alternaria helianthi).

Note:

  • Rhizoctonia bataticola is a synonym of Macrophomina phaseolina.
  • Sclerotinia libertiana Fuckel is a synonym of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.
  • Leptosphaeria lindquistii is a synonym of Phoma macdonaldii. 
  • Sclerotinia libertina is a synonym for Sclerotinia libertiana.
Non-GMO requirements:

If certification is required (refer to import permit/NPPO notification), the exporter is responsible for ensuring that the consignment is accompanied by a Certificate as to Condition attesting that the seed has not been genetically modified.

If requested, a Certificate as to Condition (Grain - GX46/Horticulture - HX46) can be issued for the consignment that is specifically supported from information supplied by the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) and where it is a government requirement of the importing country for non-GMO certification (refer to import permit/NPPO Notification).

The following text must be added to the additional declaration field when a GX46/HX46 template is added to the RFP:

The Office of the Gene Technology Regulator has advised the department that there has been no intentional release into the Australian environment of genetically modified product(s) listed on this certificate.

Consignments are to be treated with an approved fungicide and / or insecticide at recommended manufacturer's requirements.

The exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the treatment and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Details of treatment to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.

Option1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1022)

2) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free from Bacterial wilt of potato (Ralstonia solanacearum), bacterial: Tagetes spp. leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv. tagetis), Leaf spot (Pseudomonas syringae pv.helianthi), Leaf spot: sugarbeet (Pseudomonas syringae pv. aptata), Bacterial leaf blight of tomato (Pseudomonas viridiflava), Bacterial blight of endive (Pseudomonas cichorii), Bacterial soft rot (Pectobacterium carotovorum), Potato blackleg disease (Pectobacterium atrosepticum), Puccinia xanthii, charcoal rot of bean/tobacco (Rhizoctonia bataticola), Cottony soft rot (Sclerotinia libertiana Fuckel), Sclerotium rot (Athelia rolfsii/sclerotium rolfsii), Blight (Leptosphaeria lindquistii), and Alternaria leaf spot of sunflowers (Alternaria helianthi).
