Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsement 3446:
Stewart's disease (Erwinia stewartii), Maize ergot (Claviceps gigantea),Maize streak virus, Leaf freckles (Corynebacterium nebraskense), Corn stuntvirus and Philippine downy mildew (Peronosclerospora philippinesis) are notknown to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom fromthese pests.
Bacterial wilt of dahlia (Erwinia chrysanthemi) is unlikely to be on the exportpathway, therefore no testing or inspection is required to determine freedom fromthis pest.
Freedom from Bacterial soft rot (Erwinia carotovora) and Black bundle disease(Cephalosporium acremonium) may be endorsed on the basis of area of productionfreedom, crop inspection or laboratory test analysis reports.
Freedom from Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) may be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate on the basis of visual inspection by the Authorised Officer.
Consignments are to be accompanied with an International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) Orange Certificate. Issued test report should state the below (check import permit for details):
