Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.


Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

 

Cuttings must be properly labelled with their botanical names and must be securely packaged to prevent spillage in transit.
 
 
Consignment is subject to post entry quarantine requirements on arrival in Sri Lanka.

Cuttings should be 16 cm or less than 16 cm in length.
Cuttings must be treated with an approved fungicide and an insecticide at manufacturers recommended rate prior to export.

Details of treatment to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section.

1.Black rot of grapevine (Guignardia bidwellii) not known to occur in Australia.
2.A representative sample was inspected and found free of evidence of phytophagous mites, parasitic nematodes and injurious insects.
3.Grape vine cuttings were laboratory tested and found free from Clover phyllody phytoplasma, Grapevine yellows phytoplasma, Rhizobium vitis, Canker of almonds (Botryosphaeria dothidea), Eutypa lata (Eutypa dieback), Root and stem rot disease (Globisporangium splendens), Grape phylloxera (Viteus vitifoliae), ArMV Arabis mosaic virus, CRSV (Carnation ringspot virus), Grapevine leafroll-associated virus, Grapevine pinot gris virus, Grapevine virus A.
