Consignments must not contain more than 1% foreignmatter (when specified on the import permit).
ICR relates to coarse cut dried leaves used in the manufacture of tea which are Backhousia citriodora and Syzygium anisatum.
The consignment must be accompanied with a certificate from anaccredited laboratory showing freedom from Salmonella and Escherichia coli (when specified on the import permit).
Explanation of the endorsements
Endorsements are only to be used when stated on the import permit. If no endorsement is required by the import permit, a phytosanitary certificate with no additional declarations is to be issued.
Endorsement 7673:
- Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) is known not to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from this pest.
- Visual inspection by an Authorised Officer is sufficient to endorse freedom from live stored product pests.
Consignments are to be treated to eliminate stored product pests.
