Copy of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.

Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


Consignments must be accompanied by an International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) Orange Certificate (refer to import permit).

Phytosanitary certificates must be issued with within 14 days prior to the export of consignment.

1) Groundnut testa nematode (Aphelenchoides arachidis), Senn pest (Eurygaster integriceps), Omnivorous leaf roller (Platynota stultana) and Larger grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was inspected and found free of Hinch bug (Blissus leucopterus), Booklouse (Liposcelis bostrychophila), Grain psocid (Liposcelis entomophila), Psocid (Liposcelis paeta) and Indian meal moth (Plodia interpunctella).
