Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
Copy of the Import permit must be presented to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources Authorised Officer at the time of making appointment.
Consignment must not contain more than 1% foreign matter.
Consignments are to be labelled with the botanical names including variety where applicable.
Consignments must be securely packaged to prevent spillage in-transit.
Consignments must be accompanied with certificate from an accredited laboratory showing freedom from Salmonella and Ecscherichia coli.
Phytosanitary certificate must be issued within 14 days prior to export.
These ICRs are applicable to:
- Dried Organic Lemon (Backhousia citriodora)
- Dried Mount Pepper Mint (Mentaa piperita)
- Dried Organic Mint Bush (Prostanthera rotundifolia)
- Dried Organic Aniseed Myrtle (Syzygium anisatum)
- Dried Aniseed Myrtle (Syzygium anisatum).
Consignment are to be treated to eliminate stored product insects.
Treatment details are to be endorsed on the phytosanitary certificate.
Exporters to provide evidence attesting to the treatment details.
