Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.


It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure that the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.


An Additional declaration is not required for seed that will not be re-exportedfrom Spain.

Listed Additionaldeclarations are for consignments that will be re-exported from Spain.

For any consignments inwhich the seed is intended to be re-exported from Spain, the exporter to adviseat time of making the appointment.

FOR RE-EXPORT CERTIFICATION ONLY- i.e.: Australian seed being exported thatwill be re-exported from Spain.

Exporter to provideevidence attesting to the endorsement and to present to the Department ofAgriculture Authorised Officer at time of inspection.

Requests by exporters for additional endorsements of seed for sowing beingexported to Spain maybe complied with where it is known that the seedshall be re-exported to another destination through a re-export phytosanitarycertificate.

Exporters who require endorsements for re-export purposes are to providewritten evidence of the additional endorsements and which attests to theendorsement which Department of Agriculture needs to certify to on thePhytosanitary certificate.

Additional Official Phytosanitary Information:
1) The crop was inspected during active growth and found free of Alfalfa Mosaic Virus (Alfamovirus), Arabis Mosaic Nepovirus, Bacterial blight of endive (Pseudomonas cichorii), Leaf blight of carrot (Alternaria dauci) and Bacterial blight of carrot (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae).
