A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.


Explanation of the endorsements

Endorsement 1152:
  • Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium), Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) and Western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
Endorsement 6686:
  • Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A laboratory analysis certificate is required as supporting evidence that the consignment has been tested and found free of Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).
Endorsement 6687:
  • Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • An area freedom certificate is required as supporting evidence that the consignment is free from Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).
Endorsement 6688:
  • Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A crop inspection certificate is required as supporting evidence that the parent plants have been officially inspected during the growing season and found free from Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).

No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.

Endorsement 1127:
  • Western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera), Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa (cereal strain)), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia. No evidence is required to endorse freedom from these pests.
  • A crop inspection certificate is required as supporting evidence that the parent plants have been officially inspected during the growing season and found free from Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1152)
1) Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium), Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) and Western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera) are not known to occur in Australia.

Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 6686)
1) Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).

Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 6687)
1) Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici) is not known to occur in the area of production.

Option 4 (EXDOC Endorsement 6688)
1) Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Parent plants were inspected during active growth and found free from Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).

Option 5 (EXDOC Endorsement 971)
1) Western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera), Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa (cereal strain)), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici) is known not to occur in the area of production.

Option 6 (EXDOC Endorsement 1127)
1) Western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera), Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina), Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa (cereal strain)), Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica), Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) and Greater grain borer (Prostephanus truncatus) are not known to occur in Australia,
