Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.

Original and certified translation of the import permit must be presented to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.

Consignment must be labelled as per the import permit requirements.

It is the exporter’s responsibility to ensure the consignment is exported within 14 days of inspection and the phytosanitary certificate is issued within 14 days of the consignment being exported from Australia.

Refer to the departure date and inspection date in the Request for Permit.

1) American grapevine yellows, Black wood/Bois noir/Vergilbungskrankheit (Stolbur group), Grapevine yellows (Aster group), Peach rosette mosaic nepovirus, Raspberry ringspot nepovirus, Tomato black ring nepovirus, Tomato ringspot nepovirus, Black rot of grapevine (Guignardia bidwellii), Canker of grapevine (Xylophilus ampelinus), Grape rust fungus (Phakopsora euvitis), Rust of grape (Physopella ampelopsidis), Strawberry latent ringspot nepovirus, Pierce's disease (Xylella fastidiosa), Tobacco ringspot nepovirus and Texas root rot (Phymatotrichum omnivorum), are not known to occur in Australia,
2) The parent plants were found free through laboratory testing of Arabis mosaic virus, Australian grapevine yellows/Candidatus Phytoplasma australiense and Brown rot (Monilinia fructicola).
3) The plants have been cultured on growing medium free from antibiotics,
4) The cultures in the consignment are meristem tip cultures (<0.25mm) derived from disease free tested nuclear material.
