Refer to the import permit for phytosanitary certificate requirements and relevant endorsement.
If an export permit and/or a phytosanitary certificate is required, a copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Endorsement 5063 applies to consignments not tested in Australia for Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).
Notes:
- Some import permits may not require a phytosanitary certificate. For specific import conditions refer to the import permit.
- Triticum spp are listed as a prescribed grain under the Export Control (Plants and Plant Products) Rules 2021. As such, for any consignment containing more than 10kg of Triticum spp seeds, a Request For Permit (RFP) must be raised, the product inspected by an Authorised Officer and an export permit issued, prior to export, even when a phytosanitary certificate is not required. Consignments containing not more than 10kg of prescribed grain are exempt from this requirement as per the Export Control (Prescribed Goods - General) Order 2005.
Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 1109)
1) Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa (cereal strain)), Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina) and Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici) is known not to occur in the state of production.
Option 2 (EXDOC Endorsement 3686)
1) Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa (cereal strain)), Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina) and Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica) are not known to occur in Australia,
2) A representative sample was found free through laboratory testing of Wheat nematode (Anguina tritici).
Option 3 (EXDOC Endorsement 5063)
1) Dwarf bunt (Tilletia controversa (cereal strain)), Leaf blight (Alternaria triticina) and Karnal bunt (Tilletia indica) are notknown to occur in Australia.
