Note: This Micor case is applicable to Scabiosa spp plants which must:

  • Be ex glasshouse grown
  • Not be older than 10 weeks 
  • The height of the plants must not exceed 200mm
Consignments are to be free from pests, soil, weed seeds and extraneous material.
A copy of the import permit must be presented to an Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.
Consignments are to be packed in clean, new packages/bags not previously used for any purpose.
Where applicable, the exporter is to provide evidence attesting to the endorsement and present it to the Authorised Officer at the time of inspection.

Consignment must be clearly labelled with its full botanical name (genus and species).

Note: The designated point of entry in South Africa is Cape Town Harbour, Cape Town International Airport, Durban Harbour. 

Option 1 (EXDOC Endorsement 8490)
1) The consignment has been laboratory tested and found free from Strawberry Foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides fragariae), Chrysanthemum foliar nematode (Aphelenchoides ritzemabosi) and Aphelenchoides blastophthorus.
2) The plants were rooted, cultivated and are packed in a sterile medium free from soil particles. 

Import permit dated 06 November 2025.
